    Even though I find the black background easier to read, I must admit the maroon is a little more unique.

    Black. I love the maroon, but it's mainly there to give my posts a pretty contrast. There was a time when I used to wait for a thread to receive an additional reply just so that I could post in black.

    Maroon obviously, it's so stylish! Black and white you can find in many forums, rarely do you see the exotic maroon! For me it also seems a little easier on the eyes, can't really put my finger on why.
