    doh villany...i was replayin fo2 but then i forgot to patch, and the converter is nowhere to find anymore. but now i dun wanna go thru temple of trials anymore and that idiot wont help me move the obelisk

    That Ogre monkey trainer is a reference to Harry the Bunny Trainer from Wasteland?..

    Im playing wasteland but not gettin too much of a hang on it. :sad:

    dont really get the battle system and inventory and all that stuff.

    I can't belive you guys missed this:

    Those guys outside the pits of fire are an old-fasioned Baulder's Gate party. They even make a refrence to the god Bhuul (the god refrenced in BG the most is Bhaal)

    They only say it when you get them to get the blade of Xerces (sp?) for you. You got to describe how the demon is a danger to the entire world and that it can steal your soul with just a glance.

    i've got two. 1. when you talk to the Silver Lady, she says something along the lines of "yes, they're all here. of course they are, they have no choice but to follow you" which reminded me very strongly of some conversation (maybe with the old witch-hag) from Torment, where the Nameless One is told that tormented souls are attracted to him, and his comrads in arms have no choice but to follow him. 2. during the Caladon murders investigation Eakins says "Who in their right mind would try to take a demon into their body, thinking they could contain it?". this is a direct refference to Diablo I/II.

    I think this could be an egg...

    Remember the firearms master's story?... How he shot a kid and then stopped shooting...

    In the movie "Blazing Saddles" there Waco Kid told almost the same story... Only he got drunk instead of mutilating himself and being religuious... and then he got shot in the ass by a lil kid. :smile:
