    No one knows this one!

Azrams Star (Master Throwing Quest) Is an EXACT replica of the magical object in the movie "Krull." I can't remember what it was called in Krull, but if you can find it, rent the movie (Made somewhere around 1989 I think) Actually not a bad movie at that.

*Edit Oh, and some of the character portraits resemble celebrities...one half-orc one looks a bit like Leonard Nemoy as Spock, and one halfling portrait looks like the main character in the animated Lord of the Rings (as far as I can remember...its been a LONG time since I saw that)

    !

Damn that was quick...and I was wrong, someone did know it

This one is a bit more far fetched, but close enough to mention I suppose. The whole situation with Derholm, the older son being cast out by the younger son who was 'advised' by a mage, follows with the basic premise of the Stephen King book 'Eyes of the Dragon.'

    And H.T. Parnell's = Ripley's, but I guess that's really obvious...
Some of the filler background in the Tarant Sewers look suspiciously like the Fallout Necropolis.
Bane of Kree = some kind of evil COnan? Nah... reading too far into it...

    Tee hee

I was waiting for one of his guards, or maybe Chukka to refer to him as "Master Bates." *Sigh* I suppose that is just too obvious.

I think H. T. Parnell's is really referring to P. T. Barnum. Barnum started out in a little museum that was basically a freak show like Parnell’s...

None of you have found the graveyard then?

The co-ordinates are 1060, 809. You need to be EXACTLY on it to get it. [Not a degree out]

It also will not show on your map.

Another Egg could be J.T. Morgan being the master of pick locks. The real JP Morgan was a banker who was the richest person in America for a while, the link between the banker and the thief is a little obvious to me...

    Another one

The Island of Cattan is a reference to a wonderful German board game called Settlers of Cattan.

    Virgil

In Dante's Divine Comedy (yes I know, real literature...), Dante's guide through the Inferno (Hell) is named Virgil.

Krull was made in the early 80s, not 1989. The chakram is from a Start Trek episode... the original serise not the TNG.
