A lone, dark figure prowled it´s way through the dark caverns of the Black Mountain Clan. He had just entered the Clan's domains, and he already felt somewhat frightened and nervous in the darkness in the mountain. He now entered a larger room with the Clan's symbol on the floor, and found the remains of some wolves scattered across the floor.

He drew his gun from his belt, and loaded it with his own-made bullets, who exploded when they hit something more restsiant than paper. He had cut a cross at their top, and this is what caused the explotions.

He knew that several other treasure-hunters must have heard of the Gem when that old dwarf in Tarant roared about it in the middle of Kenshington Park, so he hurried through the hall and into the next pair of corridors.

He found a stairway, leading downwards, and quickly ran down it...

Unbeknownst to the lone, dark figure, he was being followed.

Shayde smirked beneath her heavy grey-splattered black rogues, designed to fade into the walls of any cave or abandoned mine. She'd heard the old dwarf yelling and seen this man hurtling away, and instantly made a decision to follow him. After all, what better trick could there be than letting someone else weaken themselves taking out resistance and then taking the prize herself?

Still, just to be on the safe side, she had a holstered revolver close to her hip, waiting for the one perceptive enough to notice her.

Marley paused in the middle of the staircase; he had heard something, but it didn't come from upstairs, it came from below. He prowled down the remaining path and squinted out in the new corridor, only to see a shadow disapear on the opposit wall. He froze at the spot.

Somebody had come before him! Damn it! Who knew about the location of these mines, other than himself and the crazed dwarf in Tarant?

He followed the shadow around the corner, only to see it vanish again. Whoever it was, he or she was fast and scilent with the sword; several kites lay dead acros the floor, and Marley, who was quite perceptious, hadn't heard a thing.

He decided to follow this one on a distance. No need to die just yet.

Shayde frowned as her mark started to act up. Then she saw the kite corpses on the floor. What the hell? She hadn't heard a thing... She drew her revolver and kept even closer to the mark, eyes narrowed against the faint light of the passageways.

Just what was lying deep in this mine anyway?

Marley peered around the next corner in the dungeon, just to try and see what exactly he was following. But, to his anger, only the shadow on yet another wall told of the other adventurers existance.
He quickly prowled to the next corner and looked for the other person again. This time with more succes than last.

It was a rather tall man with a chain-mail and a large rifle in his hands. He looked confident in himself and didn't show the slightest sign of fright.

'I could end this now...' Marley thought, 'But why shoot him, risk being killed, and do all the tough work all by himself instead of letting this guy do all the walking?'

Marley decided to follow him and await further action.
