A good crossword is one that can be solved if only you think hard enough. A bad crossword is one that can only be solved if you have prior trivia knowledge or you think in the same ridiculously abstract manner as the creator of the puzzle.

 

I think if we persuaded him, Frigo may be able to crack the very last part.

I expected something more difficult so I made a program to help me in the cracking process

Turned out it only shifted character values by 8, mod 26 (a=0, a'=8; s=18; s'=0, etc); a simple Caesar cipher.

 

And I thought I was being sarcastic....
