... thought I should mention that the Codex is up and running again (well, things are still being ironed out but the new forums are up). If you had an account there, be sure to actually use the password recovery function before bitching to DU about it.

I'll post this is in the News section as well.

Did they get hacked or something? Or did they merely decide to get a facelift? EDIT: nevermind, read the news section after this subforum.

Also, why should I make an account over there? Serious question.

The Codex is an outgrowth of this place, it sort of feels like my responsibility to provide news coverage about it when need be.

As far as I know Calis first created this place and then he created the Codex.

The forum sure seems to be older. TA's April 2001 vs Codex's June 2002.

Wow. I had assumed that The House was a specific niche that spun off of the more general RPG Codex. Shouldn't specific factions be breaking off of the larger, more general body?

The codex is a specific faction. The dicks are much, much bigger over there.

With all of the poon he buys, it'll fall off soon enough.

Isn't poon ridiculously cheap in China?

I haven't spent any significant amount of time at the RPG Codex. What's the focus of The Codex?

Multiheaded dick hits ass and leg for 10 damage.

    Kingcomrade!

An... interesting number of exhibitionist trannies with a cult following tracking down their porn videos and whatnot. These threads generally receive thousands of replies.

A long-standing member having to leave in shame after admitting to his fantasy of having one of said trannies take a dump on his chest.

Cleveland Mark Blakemoore. Has built a Fallout-esque vault in the Australian wasteland, no joke. Get this, Grimoire will never be released.

Irreconciliable rage towards anything made in the CRPG genre since the holy troika of Arcanum/Fallout/Planescape, often bordering on the ridiculous. Once you're part of the Hivemind, that's how you roll.

People posing for Kodex Kool Kredits, which might tell you something about the generally held political views.

    Alts. Thousands of them.

    Wyrmlord.

If none of that made sense, thank the Gods for allowing you to retain whatever is left of your sanity.

I posted in the Codex once. That was nearly six years ago. Maybe it's time to take my post count all the way up to 2.

I might register and post five times more than that, plus one more...to take my post count up to 11!

If nobody here ever went there, was it really news?

Also, this is my 2000th post.

The Schwarzchild radius extended beyond the server's ability to contain what DE described. Thankfully, it's a singularity derived from insanity, so updating the forum fixed the problem.
I've lurked enough to know I would feel less in touch with them than I do you guys. What's that say?
