The character boxes in the upper left hand corner of my

game screen have disappeared. The small white boxes you use for quick looks at their stats and inventory etc. I can still
talk to and order the npc's by directly clicking on them-but how do i get the boxes back? Is it a glitch or did i turn something off?

 

full version

if you downloaded and then started playing the fullscreen version of the game it makes it so their is more screen, you can talk by clicking... also their are hotkeys for everything else (I to bring up inventory, o for options, L for logbook, F for fate window, C for for the character stat page, s for the sleep menu, w for the world map, and t for the tech schematic page.)

if you don't like the way that handles, just run the regular arcanum.exe file, not the arcanum fullscreen.

Haven't tried using the full screen yet.

 

I want the small character box, not the character page. And

I have the full version and F12 does not toggle full screen.

 

It won't work with F12. When you update your version, there is a new file found in your start menu. Use it to do a full screen.
Or what you can do is make another shortccupt and put -fullscreen in the target.

 

hmm it's weird all this "full screen" buisness, the version I got it never worked in another way than full screen

 

The target is suppose to be like this:

C:SierraArcanumArcanum.exe -fullscreen

 

I must have the "full screen enhanced" version

 

Character portraits...

Oldlamer: There is a small arrow directly below the space where those portraits are and directly above the health meter, if they are missing, this arrow is a green arrow pointing up, if they are active it's a red arrow pointing down. Hope this helps.
