I'm not going to read through all that so did you want to say anything more but that witches' slaughter was bad?

 

A friend of mine. She lives down the street, weve been friends for a few years. Shes into witchcraft, just like me. And there is a group of men that gather at her house every Friday night to play cards and drink. They are memers of the curch and about as Christian as you can get. Well, last Friday, they gatherd at her house, her father was away on business so he wasnt there. She was doing a ritual in the backyard, they smelled the smoke and went to investigate. I got a call, about an hour later, from her, telling me to come down there NOW, then she ither hung up or dropped the phone. I ran down to her house and into her backyard. She looked like one giant bruise. She was bleeding from her mouth, she had dragged herself over to a table that had her dad's cell phone on it. She dopped it becasue she passed out. They beat the living shit out of a 14 year old girl. Because they thought she was worshiping the devil. I got her inside and cleaned her up. We called the police and they all got arrested. Her father was SO pissed at them, he stopped going to church.

Now I ask you, do you think they would have done that if she had a crucifix in her hand and was reciting the Lords Prayer?

 

So we should physically injure someone because of what they think about witches?

How's that any different than a christian saying "nex time some witch worships the devil, PUNCH HIS FUCKING FACE IN!!"?

as for staying on topic... people get hurt for their beliefs. it happens. i've actually been on the recieving end of one of those anti-witch beatings. you shrug it off, and move on. you don't sink to their level.

 

I almost can't believe it that people can be THAT stupid. But then again human's stupidity knows no limits. I just hope those fuckheads will get proper treatment in jail especially if police hadn't provided some due to "resisting arrest".

Oh yeah I wrote all of this assuming that the ritual you mentioned didn't involve hurting some creatures. Then, I must admit it, my point of view would be utterly different.

While i doubt the sincerity of this post, i also doubt that a group of men who are as christian as they can get, drink, play cards and beat up 14 year old girls, regardless of her beliefs.

I agree with Rat - it doesn't take a group of fully grown men to beat up one 14 year old girl. They'd talk to her, not beat the shit out of her. Besides, don't you think it would have made the news?

Seriously, trying to get us to believe that a group of grown men supposedly beat the living shit out of a practically helpless 14 year old girl (and Christian men no less) is a new level for you. If they were as Christian as you claimed, they wouldn't have done that. You claim to be a pagan, how can you judge how 'Christian' they are? Why didn't you call the wrath of Baal down upon them? Why did you not summon up the Nine Underworlds to swallow them?

I mean shit, just knowing you seems to be dangerous these days. We now have on the casualty list one victim of an anti-devil worshipper beating, a victim of child beating, and a friend who suicided. I can't wait to see who's next.

 

Wow, I'm nearly split here. I hate religious fanatics and hippies/witches, but seeing the sign "Hippy Chicks Rule!!!" on the inside of someone's locker at school reminded me just how much I hate them. If the fanatics did it (which I doubt), that was mighty stupid by them.

A swift bullet to head would have been neater, quicker and less incriminating :wink: .

 

The fact that someone appears a Christian to another person (which can be based mostly on observation of a given person's attendance at church) doesn't mean that he can't be a lusy bastard at the same time. Christians have done many things that their descendants don't really like to remember.

 

I agree with Dragoon... being a christian does not come from the fact that you go to a church... it's something you have to feel inside... those men who beat that girl up are not worthy to be called christians.

Sorry, I try to avoid these discussions... they're pointless and nothing ever gets accomplished except that people get trampled on and things get said that destroy an otherwise friendly atmosphere...

Of course, some people start topics like this specifically to get peoples' backs up and cause exactly that sort of thing. Such people should be taken out behind the building and slapped with a herring. Anyone got a herring?
