Evil Assassin did get it right!

    Sorry for doubting it!

I finally found the bridge that connects Elf-land to Caladon Kingdom!

So, yes, it is possible to get to Caladon (though not a good idea) before the main plot takes you there.

Only a dedicated adventurer who has completed the game before (or downloaded the walkthough and locations) will be able to do it, but By George! It can be done!

Approaching from the NORTH shore of the river, the bridge is located at

    1826 West
    947 South

    Oh...
And if you go there ... be careful of the Wyvern.

It attacks on sight and you lose the quest.
Try to sneak past it before going on ....

You can also force Caladon through Golgoth (SP?) pass, in the Stonewalls south of Shrouded hills.

Shady - I thought that you could only detect Gorgoth from the west side?

Pleeease, we've been going through it thousands of times.

Gorgoth pass is only accessible from the west unless it's already on your map. You can get to it from the east only by mundane no-world map walking and searching along mountain range

From the west, the pass is at 1498, 1443. You can't get much closer than about 4 or 5 west of it on the world map, then overland to the Stonewalls & N or S untill the bright plants. Less than 5 min. real time, 1 hour game time. I've made the pass far more often from the west than the east. BTW, I'm patched.

There's no problem getting there from the west. After all that's how you're supposed to get there. You can hear first rumors about this pass no sooner than in Caladon/Roseborough so getting there from the west is the "normal" way to do it.

Oh the other west. I get it now. How could I assume you mean the trdition left west instead of modern right west?

Yey I was right. The only time when thats worth using anyway is if you disintergrated the lady in the library and the author in Ashbury.

Hmm... is it possible to make the main plot uncompletable that way? Like disintegrating Raven so you can't go to the Silver Lady and there's no note about Terwilliger?

Heh, can Bessie Toone be disintegrated?

Hell, it's possible to screw the main plot simply by going to Quintarra too soon - Raven won't be there and she won't appear no matter what you do.

Which note? The one from M'in Ghorad (sp?) or Loghaire.

You can also drop the note and then disintegrate it.

Yes, there are plenty of ways to screw the plot if you really try. The problem with the bug fixed in the patch where the death of two elves left you unable to find a certain city is that a mass murderer might kill both of them, and once you do there's no convenient journal or anything to tell you where the city is.
