No, this isn't another thread complaining about the lack of member participation. I've noticed that for the last couple of days the loading times for the board have been incredibly long. It takes about 2 minutes to log in, and then each page takes anywhere between 30 and 90 seconds to load. I'm on a T1 line. :-o

It's only been the last couple of days and no other site seems to be affected, so I was wondering if there was anything wrong with the board?

Oh, and just a word of warning. There is a hacker out there altering the boards again:

Some friendless twat no doubt, who is taking out his incapacity to get laid on innocent people. :x

Did this happen at our board? Not to sound clueless, but I didn't see any of those messages. If so, I suppose I shall drop him/her/it an email.

I've also noticed that the boards have been running a bit slow. I dunno, I'm no computer wiz.

Nah, one of the ones affected is a dedicated RP board I use. I've heard of others, but that's the only one I know personally. I just thought I'd post a warning so everybody is ready for it if it continues. I believe the same person went on a round of hacking a couple of months ago.

I'd better upgrade the board to 2.0.6 then (which came out two weeks ago). No time today, will probably get to it tomorrow. No worries. If you guys are worried about the board data then Jinxed can do a database backup.

EDIT: I'm off in a minute, but I started the backup script and am downloading the database myself, "just in case".
