That's a problem, too...my monitor is completely fucked. It won't go above 60 hertz on any resolution now, and I still can't go below 1024 by 768. I think I have to get a new monitor. :/

This being Sunday, go around back of the local thrift store and snag one to get you by for a while.

Gross, I think I had that problem some time ago (probably a very long time ago, but I recognise it). Have you done anything that might have deleted your monitor(?) or graphics card drivers? It's probably a good idea to go to at least the website of the manufacturer of your graphics card and download and install the newest drivers.

Hmmm...come to think of it, there was something I overlooked.

A few weeks ago, I installed a new videocard on my computer because I couldn't play Neverwinter Nights 2 wiithout serious lag. I found out that NWN 2 liked my new graphics card less...and so I ended up going back to my stock card, and I didn't bother reinstalling the driver software for the original card (since I never uninstalled it in the first place). Thanks, mathboy! I think that might help. I'll give updates either way...

    GOOD NEWS! mathboy was right!!!

    I'm so happy.

Isn't there a command line that lets you run Arcanum in high resolution or am I making that up?

We need mathboy's opinion. He was right about my video driver, he'll be right about hi-def Arcanum.

Running Arcanum in a window? IT EXISTS AND IS TRUE!!!! I used it once because of how Alt+Tab screws everything up, but window mode really doesn't help that. Let me try to find what it was...

    EDIT: DRUMROLL PLEASE....

Wait til you get to the bottom of the thread, because the first suggestion turns out to be a bad idea. The program given worked perfectly for me (though I found it somewhere else).

    EDIT2: http://www.xcomufo.com/forums/index.php ... ntry167726

Use that link instead. Bottom again.
