Tech. question, bug perhaps?

I turned on arcanum last night and after playing for 15-20 minutes, I noticed the dialog had lines running through it. Soon the dialog was jumbling up, even shrinking at times to the point that you couldn't read it. If I scrolled the screen past the dialog and scrolled back, it would be fine. Soon however, even that didn't help, because the dialog would shrink or jumble up again. Um, any answers?.....

 

this occurred when i downloaded the latest patch although not as extreme....

did you just patch the game???

my prob. soon went away..try restarting your pc if you did download the latest patch...otherwise dunno...

 

I remember someone mentioning some similiar text bug earlier. Do you have all the patches? Though I did not have such problems myself even before patching the game.

 

No, I have not patched nothing. I just bought the game a week ago. Don't have internet at my home, so I can't patch the game. However, this problem just occured last night. It is the first time I have encountered it. It hasn't done this previously...
