Anyway, is today Friday in the mountains of the USA? Just checking, because they appear to be stringing us along in the classic developer's "Honest, it'll surely be done by tomorrow" way.

And the trading is fine. I'm averaging about $1kk/turn over my first 150 turns. Oh fah-kyess. I'm back up to lvl 19, and I'm gonna hit 20 soon.

Its alright Notharah we all feel your pain. Im happy that i was in a dock at the time, course that dosent always stop people from blowing up a poor trader.

I'm not gonna play until most of the problems have been sorted out... but anyway

Should I go for an evil alignment, or a good alignment. They don't really seem to matter that much, I can't really see how to raise it or lower it. But does anybody know the advantages or disadvanteges of em?

 

Other than allowing you to dock at certain stations, and avoid attacks from certain enemies, your alignment doesn't mean much.

He's a basic list of what I've worked out from people telling me stuff. Probably not entirely accurate, but gives you an indication of what happens.

-100 to -200: you can dock in the really evil stations, and get help from rim pirates, but are attacked by border patrol
-50 to -100: You can dock at the lesser evel stations, and avoid attacks by rim pirates
+50 to -50: You are considered neutral, but get attacked by rim pirates
+50 to +100: You can dock at the good aligned stations. Border patrol will offer assistance, but you get attacked by pirates.
+100 to +200: You can dock at the really good aligned stations. Neccessary to get best weapons in game. Attacked by pirates, aided by border patrol.

Shoot Negative alignment people get positive alignment and vise versa.

Trade at positive dock and alignment goes up and vise versa. Again.

Attack boarder patrol. Good luck. negative alignment. same goes with pirates.
