So first I'll admit I haven't had too big a problem with slowdown, but it does happen, especially in Tarant. Last night I tried auto-pathing around town WITHOUT adjusting the screen view (hands off the mouse people). It went /significantly/ faster. From the map you can identify doors and trash bins. As you walk through the town, if you see someone you want to talk to, you can always interrupt the auto-move. This little feature worked so well for me, I decided to recommend it you you, my friends.

My slow problem is that I haven't reached Tsen'Ang.

Tarant is slow, but not any more then other places. I guess that slowdowns will be eliminated with more ram, as it seems that it is only slow on those areas that haven't been loaded yet. Try scrolling the map back and forth, and ya know what I mean.
