ok well i'm in tarant and i can't go on the steam rail or the shops because they say i'm "magickly inclinded" what do i do?>??
Put points into tech stuff to balance you out if you really want.... Otherwise, they won't serve your evil Magick arse!!! Hey, no worries though, I got the same thing from the Mages with my Techie Character. So I just shot them and took their stuff if I wanted/needed anything. Of course, mages only use their fists so I had no fear.... You on the other hand, want to fight techies'.... They'll shoot you down, ya punk. Other than that, just sell all the stuff to the Junk Dealer, that's also what I ended up doing. I *think* the Identifying Wench/Gypsy might still trade with you though....
If you do not plan to be lawful, you can kill them and get their stock. Otherwise, you can't do much. This shows the segregation of Magic and Technology. Steamrail and train are technology based transportations.
As the tardy, self-appointed forum Welcomer, I would like to say, "Welcome to the forum, Olivia!" :wavey: As for you question: Steamrail/Train = Walk. Techie Shops = I agree with DU. Kill them. _________________ You know what? I'm glad I'm not a laboratory animal. even if you're all good and stuff (losers! ), killing shopkeepers only drops a point... in one game i killed the entire town of dernholm without dropping below +50...
Hmm...has anyone cleaned out Tarant? Might have to try that.....kill all the people, smash all the lights, destroy all the doors, ect. Make it a ghost town.
Might be hard. Your weapons will probably break. You might want to do that around the end of the game in case you miss some quest.
Just do it with your bare hands and have Virgil heal you. Or you could have Dog just go through and rip the shit out of everything.
No no no!!! If you want to wipe out Tarant, start the Orc Riots. That's the proper way.. Oh... But don't expect to be able to go to Caladon either... So you'll have to wipe them out as well...
I actually made a start once by trying to kill all the people in there (damn techno's - wanted to send them the way of Vendrigoth). Thing is, that after killing a few, you get labeled 'Enemy of Tarant', which kinda pisses the people off so they attack you on sight. Anyway, never got to finish it because, well, Tarant is *HUGE*. One day I will finish the job though . Hadn't thought about the lights either, thanks for that tip, even though it is only usefull for dramatic effect . [ This Message was edited by: LostSoul on 2002-03-14 18:14 ]
