Perhaps one day I will. It's being postponed until I have the time and motivation to blindly browse through sites like those, but the mission to find those games will not be abandoned easily.

Actually I share your loss, Jojobobo, having outlived my 360 as well.

In my case the power-brick went phut and lived no more and my response was merely meh.

Nonetheless: Alas, poor xbox! I knew him, Jojobobo.

Well I guess at least my reliable Wii is still live and kicking. I always find beating 10 year olds from across the world at Mario Kart quite rewarding.

I think you got the wrong game in your mind, because there IS a piranha level in Aztec Challenge, (it's level 6) where you have to dodge the flesh-eating piranhas to get to the other side of the river. (pool?) This is the Commodore 64 Version of this game (in the 80's)

In the first level you have to dodge spears by jumping or kneeling. Then you have to dodge the rocks on some stairs. After that you have to jump over boobytraps in the temple. When you have finished that level you have to something else, but I cannot remember that this moment. Now you have to walk on the right platform to prevent getting killed by a boobytrap. Sixth level is dodging those bloody piranhas. Seventh level is walking over a dangerous bridge.

Just go and look it up on Wiki or on those sites about c64 games.

Yeah, there were no spears or piranhas in my Aztec Challenge. In fact, there wasn't even any kneeling. There was only jumping, falling, and toe stubbing.

    I meant jumping and Duck.

DC: Yes. That is why you should not try this at home.

You should know that I know my c64 games who I have played in the 80's. So I am right about this game.

I'm actually gonna back Arthgon up on this one, because I found this. Looks like the C64 version of Aztec challenge had both spears and piranhas...if you guys didn't see either of those things, you didn't get far enough in level one. Piranhas are in level 6, and the last part of one has a spear which can kill you instantly.

Gross: Thank you for backing me up with this.

Yes. If you want to finish that level with the piranhas you definely need a color monitor or else it sudden death at each time. (like I had)

Thanks. Now if you look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=udtsv15fWH0 you will see how it looked like and which levels it had. This was one of those games that I played in my youth. That was back in the 80's.

Can you see the piranhas? Yes. That is because he/she was playing the game with a color monitor. (Lucky bastard.)

Nah Holmes, this is the game. The maneuvers were limited to low, normal, and high jumps. The player couldn't even control his toon's speed. The player is rewarded points based on jumps, so that's why the guy in the video jumps for the hell of it.

As you can see, it gets more difficult. After the sun sets and the sky turns blue, the player has the option of misjudging jumps and bashing his brains into the overhangs above in "COLUMNS." As you can't see, hazards eventually include lavafalls, but no piranhas.

I say, that gentleman appears to be running around without any pants whatsoever. Mighty fine buttocks though, mighty fine.
