    I really wanted to like FF but when I finally played it I was like, WTF? Where's the final fantasy that I heard was good? This is absolute brain dead crap! This was true of every version: Ah, maybe this is the good one I heard about; no, this sucks too.

    Just one of those trends where you have to be there, I guess.

    Like all things, if you expect too much you get disappointed. If you go in with no expectations you normally get satisfied or blown away. Much like when I banged yo momma.

    Probably. FF6 blew me away when it was released, because what RPGs did you have back in those days? Satsifaction is all down to the standards you've come to expect. Hell, I remember a time when Virtua Fighter was cool because it was in 3d.

    On a somewhat unrelated note, I also claim that Illusion of Gaia may have been the most underappreciated game on the SNES.

    Eh, it was alright. I'm generally underwhelmed by action RPGs anyway. I liked Actraiser better.
