We arranged a new account at JJTEK Hosting and we will be switching over soon. Gator adds, it's been a swell two years or so, but since your host applied you without saying anything to us, and is ignoring our emails pertaining the matter, it's time to say good bye, and fuck you. Some down time will probably come our way soon. See you guys on a new server.
Just a note to all on how this will be done. We'll receive final info on our account setup on the new host. I'll backup everything on site and shift it over. I'll backup the database and shift that over At about the same time as this, we'll change the DNS for the domain name so it points to the new site. The old site will get a "this is the old site" news post made on it. The new site will get a "this is the new site" news post made on it, so you can tell which is which. Worse case scenario the site is down for a week¹. Best case scenario the site is offline for about two days (that's usually how long it takes for the DNS² to propogate). At this stage we don't know when *exactly* this will occur but we'll let you know as soon as we know. It'll all be done and over with, within the next month though. ¹Technically, worse case scenario is the new host fails and we have to shift back to the old site or find a new host or some cataclysmic event occurs that fucks us right up. ²DNS is the domain name server. Basically which site you get shown by your ISP when you type in terra-arcanum.com. It has to point to the new host and that change takes a while to occur.
