Hugo, Hugo II: Whodunit, and Hugo III: House of Horrors. Brilliant, 10 years ago.

Do yourself a favor, never play games that you remember fondly from 10 or so years ago. Completely let me down, I used to love them.

For the oldies, who remembers Beneath a Steel Sky? I played that on an Amiga.

What about The Hobbit (on speccy or C64)? I had a truly great time playing those. Anyone who wasn't around or needs a reminder, can play it at HOB (a Java-based emulator)

I played that game. (Dammit, a few posts above this I advised you to get it before Syberia  ) But if I recall correctly don't people refer to it as "TLJ"?

Beneath a Steel Sky - one hell of a yummy adventure game.

    I didn't play hobbit.

Hey, remember Lure of the Tempress? The first game in which characters didn't stand in place waiting for player to appear but "lived their own lives".

tzehoong I don't keep in mind who posted what unless I reply to it. As for the name since this The Longest Journey was mentioned in this thread we strarted to write TLJ instead of typing the full name every time.

Not trying to grave-dig, Jinxed, but this one wasn't buried completely yet.. Just had one foot in the grave, is all.... :p

Well, I finished Syberia this weekend. It was really a fantastic game. Certainly a change in pace. The cinematics are arguably the best aspect of the game. This game, like most, has a feature to play all the cinematics that you've "unlocked" so far, and I watched them over and over. Very well done.

The story is fairly well done, I think. No major problems with anything in the game, other than the ending being just a weeeeeee bit anti-climatic, IMO. But, still stirring.

Get this game!!! All of you!!!

Well, TLJ's ending is a bit anti climatic as well. Leaves room open for a sequel. -crosses fingers- GO BUY TLJ! YOUR MASTER (me) BIDS YOU TOO! Seriously, you will not be dissapointed by TLJ. It's fantastic.

My sis said she'd buy me TLJ for my late b-day present - we had a quarrel unfortunately so I'm rather doubtful now.
