So, I finally layered Rroyo's WIP with the level cap remover and Virgil's cheat menu. They said it was impossible, they said I was mad to try. Well, who's mad now?! MWAHAHA!! Anyway, future metagaming whores like myself may wish to learn the recipe. Muro knows I learned it the hard way... First, the vanilla Arcanum then the latest official patch 1074 then the Rroyo WIP then the level cap remover (removing three digits from the end of each line) then the inventory2 patch (for no good reason, but I did it) then the cargo hold patch (otherwise the ship won't work) then, virgil's cheat menu Now, when creating a character, even looking at a customised background will crash the game. However, other new location and features work like a charm. Virgil will initially not mark your map with the cheat menu, but once he's had his epiphany at Caladon, he regains that option. The atlas in the library still works at any time, however. The only other bug is that, when you load a game, then restart as a new character, it may crash. However, this is solved by saving the game, then restarting it and loading the save... seamless supermegametagaming for everyone. I figured out it takes about 900,000 at the tempter of fate to utterly glut yourself with character points (assuming you prefer a nice round 1000 in both health and fatigue). That's only a few thousand mouse-clicks in a row... easy! Then, with Dominate Will + Back Off + Bonds of Magick + Meta-abuse charm + Force Good Reaction, you get your million gold pieces back and you can start metaplaying the metagame in earnest. Just be careful that you don't level up too fast now, 56 character points is the maximum you can hold at one time. P.S. I just pushed my luck and tried to throw the werebeast setup over the top, and my house of cards came tumbling down I guess I was mad, after all.
