Intolerant? Of what? Sure, a few people might have been harassed until they coincidently left, but it's hardly been a place (or case) of "Conform or die!" like Vault 13, and to a lesser extent, the Codex. I might disagree with plenty of people here (and I'm as regular a regular as you can get) but I don't really recall being intolerant.

No, I think it's just a case of you wanting to appear all smart and cynical and ironic, activities which you have little ability or experience in. Leave it to the people who can.

 

So far, in this attempt at a respectful tribute to someone who was(to many people) a great actor, and a person that did alot for stem cell research(whether right or not...doesnt matter). This was simply meant to say that a person, whether great or not depends on your veiwpoints(which are seldomly asked for...but frequently given) died. The person that started this thread wish to pay HIS respects to the person he viewed as Superman.

The rest of this thread turned into a bash the dumb fuckers for having a brain and believing something other than what I do because it is not in accordance with whatever I do or do not believe and is therefore completely fucking wrong since only I can have the correct and proper knowledge and views of such things because I and only I can the dictatorish s.o.b. acting Hitleresque, so anybody that thinks otherwise is beneath me and how dare you defend someone that I disagree with when you should be defending yourself and your wrong viewpoint whilst in the same token agreeing with my perception of reality!!

I am beyond sick and tired of reading stupid shit that should never come up in most threads. Somehow, someway, some dumb fuck(usually sleek) devises some extremely vague idea of how they can bring god/religion/beliefs/theology into some sort of half bullshitted, barely believable semblance of relevance to the current thread topic in which everyone is wrong, and how dare they try and rebutle them for saying what they wish because they are not the hypocrit for calling the kettle black in this public forum. Get a fucking life and realise that there are many different views on things in this world and that not everyone you encounter will share your viewpoint...kinda like the same way not everyone looks exactly the same(sounds kinda familiar to me...).

Sure, I'll leave being ironic and cynical to you. And as for appearing smart , I think that most everyone wants that, don't you? Too bad there's a difference between knowing alot and being smart, or I'd be able to give that title to a few regulars here.

 

Trying to hard to appear a certain way is never appealing. Honesty is appreciated, and a decent policy, apparently. The truth has a wide variety of applications, and its rarity indicates that it is to be highly applauded when encountered. Its wise to make sure that your words, and the truth are not to be apploted losely. Honesty is widely approved of, wherever applicable.

 

I'll take all of that to mean you concede victory to me, and that I am both genuinely smart and intelligent and appear that way to others. Sweet deal, says I.

I´m actually a member of the norwegian church, but that is only because i have to pay to leave it. I saw a television program about some guy who belived in odin and frigg and th likes. What he did when he prayed was basically getting drunk and scream against the sky. He also dressed funny.

That guy has a pretty good religion going, but I think I would want to mix and match. Odin, Thor, the Valkeries, all very cool. But you also need Dionysius, he's great for getting wild sex orgies started. Athena always knows what's a good read, and then of course there was Hephestus. He might have looked like a deformed garden gnome, but he still rocks.

Then of course, Thor is going to get lonely in all his smiting. I think the bear from native american culture would make a good companion for him.
