    i have kick ass html skills, just no ideas, sorry. and i'm decent with CSS. so if you need help with the coding part, let me know. and DON'T look at my site as an example. like i said, i have no ideas :(

    Notty gave me a pre-build version of the website and instructions on how to use it - and I can't even get it to work! I can display each page separately, but the links don't work and the pictures are screwed! Perhaps I ought to rewrite it and send it back to him... :-?

    Yo! It just so happens that my "hosts" where I am staying have internet on their mac. Um... I can program HTML pretty good and have a whole lot of free code on my machine that I can play around with and tweak so it suits you (java & javascript), plus, I can now do alot more since a friend of mine gave me a crack for my trials of Paint Shop Pro 7, Flash 5, and Dreamweaver 3. If you need any help, I would be happy to help.

    Hey, thanks for reminding me of that top frame... it is something that I had been forgetting on my websites, since until now, I have been using 50g.com as a host and they cover up the top frame with their banner ad. I will use that again, thanks 4 reminding me :D!

    And Milo, check out the stuff I send you by private message and ANSWER IT PLEASE. Sorry, but I am just dying to know what you think. (everyone but milo ignore this paragraph....)

    as you might have read I copied your forum looks... and modified it a bit... but it's not what I want yet... I do need a lot of help so if you'd help it would be apreciated. I'm going to change the reply buttons and such, but I'm too unexperienced to know how to make a decent forum.
    Up 'till now I made every in-site link so that it shows in the body... but I don't know if this is wise for a forum...

    I'm going to follow Ferret's advice to name every new body the way the link is called... it is easier to figure it out then...

    If that is what you mean, I did like I showed above except like this:

    <title>Vendigroth - Arcanum 2</title>

    However, it doesnt show, because in my home.htm, I have HTML frames, so the title of the home page. So, it would be like as follows:

    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Vendigroth</title>
    </head>
    <frameset>.....</frameset>

    and no matter what page you visited in the frames, the name at the top would always be Vendigroth.
    If that is what you meant, I hope it helps.

    Also, if you want your own message board made by yourself, you can check out MySQL... it works pretty well... I think that you could use it to make something simple.

    You could load the page locally in your browser, hit the "Print Screen" key, and paste it to a new document in a graphics program. Then resize it, optimize the file size some, and upload it to some webspace. Then post it.

    Oh, and nbrosz... I didn't do all that stuff to check out your webpage. I'm sorry, but downloading files and running a batch script? Why don't you just put it up if you want people to check it out?

    I can send you the files of my site... but since they didn't work with Ferret... I'm not sure they will work on your computer...

    A webring is a nice Idea... but as you know I'm quite unexperienced... right now I'm a little busy.. but when I've got time I'll explain more of what I'll need and such...
