Hello, have some strange problem with arcanum, seems like my dexterity somehow dropped without a reason, its red underlined but i dunno why it dropped, no curses displayed, no injuries, nothing, same vor virgil in my party, dexterity just dropped, anyone a clue why thats happening? thx in advance
were you just in the tarant sewers and picked up a sword? It'll do it every time. Better have a saved game you can go back to! Something to remember in the future, don't equip something you don't know what it is. OR Give it to a follower to hold because most of the time they grab it! WELCOME to our forum! Parmanian
thx 4 the welcome, yes i have been in the sewers but its passed a long time, so no backup save for me any clue how i can raise the dexterity back again? I've tried everything from visiting the temples, buying full heals at the medics, bought nearly every potion possible but the only way seems to be leveling and putting points in dext to raise it again, which pretty much sucks (
thats the problem, If you get scarred, a healer can fix it, it you loose any other stat forget it, it costs you cps to get it back and it will always stay red and you will NEVER get maximum in that stat. Sorry for the bad news but look at your character screen more often, save more often and with diff names. But now that you have played awhile, the next game will be a little easier starting out. Read a lot of the posts on how different areas are handled before you go to those areas. Parmanian
Wait whats the problem with this sword? i havent found it yet, why does it do this? what is it called? where is it in the sewers? is there anyway to pick it up without this happening?
It's an unidentified rusty longsword called the Blackstone Blade. It's in a barrel in the closed sewers of Tarant, along with (I think) an unidentified Dagger of Speed. It's hexed and lowers your dex by 2, permanently. You can pick it up if you want, just don't equip it. And don't give it to a follower either, unless you're feeling nasty.
