The mayor in Ashbury won't give me the orator quest! I've looked all over the boards and it looks like nobody seems to have this problem. Whenever I go talk to him, he says that he has to settle it by himself because of his reputation as mayor. My intelligence is 12+ and I can get a few ranks of persuasion by drinking a potion, but it still doesn't work. Do I need to be an apprentice at persuasion before I can get the quest or what? Oh, and what's odd is that the citizens of Ashbury attack me initially, but after I solve the zombie quest, they all seem to be friendly again.. Thanks!
I think you actually need to be expert, also having 12 int is the minimum and having more will help with the choices. having a decent cha help's too... sorry if that doesn't help, anyway, welcome :wavey:
