stuck on half ogre island

    I saved my game right before I went to HO island. I got there, found the quest item, and walked around awhile. I went back to the boat. it is there but there is no captain. so I went back to my save, tried it again, but when we all spawn on the island I look for the captain and he is not there.

    after a long search of threads using the right keywords, I have discovered that my problem with being stuck at half ogre island was due to the fact that the hi res patch made the captain disappear. a quick uninstall fixed it, and i reinstalled after the island.

    That's not an error I've heard of before.....strange. Glad you found a solution though, I'll have to remember that for future non-teleporting characters.
