A normal human has 46 chromosomes, divided in 23 pairs. Each chromosome is inherited as a unit - you don't get half from a parent and half from other. You do get a chromosome of each pair from your mother and its corresponding one from your father.
So, do your research again, Mr. "Smart". :p

Possible. Though what defect would that cause?
    Impotence? Albinoism? Brain damage?

You have 46 chromosomes in your somatic (non-reproductive cells) and 23 in your reproductive cells. A baby gets 23 from each parent and gets the magical 46. You never get the entire 23 chromies of your father or mother in your reproductive cell, I think you get an average.

My main point was that bro/sis breedings result in higher mutations/defects/retardations, than parent/child breedings.

    Fuck you, you're stupid.

FUCK YOU ALL, MY MUMS A DOCTOR
Your all wrong! You get 22 from each parent plus either X and Y or 2Y.
I think you need to do your research before you challenge "Mr. Smart Parents" I was right though my post was worded too ambiguously, I couldn't expect you to keep up with me and I didn't give you all the info, I made it easier to understand.

Retard, that Science Lesson was a joke, you silly duffer. It was meant in the unlikely case you did want to screw your mother.

    Fuck you, you're stupid-er.

Who cares if your mum is a doctor, that doesn't protect you from your own stupidity. The X and Y count. Therefore your previous count of 22 was wrong. It is 23. And nobody has 2Y, you moron. They get XX or XY.

Did you read my post Icairus? I dumbed it down for you. Dumbarse. The X and Y aren't relevant to the inter-breeding part.

EDIT: yes I did confuse X and Y chromosones. Maybe that's why I still don't know exactly what my gender is

I might be wrong, but can't it happen that someone gets XYY? Or XXX (heh)? I think people like that get kinda weird...

XXY= really effeminate male, sometimes its hard to tell its a male, but it always is.

    XXX= a really weepy female

XYY= Super aggressive, super hairy, male

YY= a big sloppy dead thing.

    At least thats my understanding.

Edit: Most of these accidents are usually retarded, but not necessarily.

Most of the accidents are non-living. The ones that survive are indeed insanely fucked up.
Down Syndrome has nothing to do with the X or Y chromosomes, it is a bonus Chromosome 11 (I'm fairly certain it is 11, but didn't bother to make sure)
And X and Y are very relevant to interbreeding, you genetic rubbishbin.

Down's Syndrome is also called Trisomy 21. It's 21st pair. I believe Trisomy 11 is something else. I was joking about the Down pornstar.

I figured you were, Death, but I didn't want morons like Sea Dog, who doesn't know that Y is the male gene to think that there was any veracity to your claims.
Oh, and thank you for informing me about Down Syndrome actually being Black Jack Trisomy.
