Okay, my main character is nor curled up in a corner whimpering in fear, and not even her lust for a certain journalist is making her calm down. YOU BROKE MY MAIN CHARACTER YOU SICK BASTARD! That's my job!

 

Various types of alchemy paints might be expected in such a place. You daub or paint an object with it and it takes on the effect for a limited time. These could be anything from practical applications of liquid fire being painted onto a metal plate to provide a precision flameless heat source to aesthetic fashion suppliments such as liquid (or powdered) rainbow for a fashionable outfit or decorum.

Orintil, the idea of Alchemical Paint is actually really, really nifty. It'd need a little tweaking, but I reckon I'll use it... *plots*

EDIT: Due to a rather neat idea I came up with today (it involves the Sidhe and their impact on other cultures), I'm thinking of changing Gwen's name to Briony. What do people think of that as a Celtic-sounding name for a young redheaded alchemist?

 

I like Gwen, if only because it rolls off the tongue better.
