There's something wrong with this Myrth fellow -- the elf in Stillwater, who tells you the location of Qintarra. The point is, that he JUST told me where it is, I mean, he didn't require ANYTHING from me in exchange. I know, it shouldn't be this way, cause the dialog with him must trigger a whole sidequest regarding Stillwater Giant capturing. Since he didn't say anything about this, you cannot speak with the fellow (forgot his name) who has a trap, which is necessary for capturing the blue rabbit and so on. Why this happened? Anybody has any clues?
I never got a shot at the stillwater giant-i just went back to Tarant, stole the fake pelt from P.T. whatshisname in the middle of the night, back to Mryth and he told me.
i dont think he meant HT parnell, he was talkin bout the guy who gives u the trap... that blue rabit is fake...duh, but it's still very strong, i tried not to hit him back for a coupla seconds, and it took off good 50 HP thru 95 ac and dr
I don't know... I played an elf (a female elf, at that) and I still had to do the Stillwater Giant quest. I'm thinking maybe Elrond has a really high persuasion or intelligence.
I have BE 15, IN 18, CH 20, and in addition, I'm a persuasion expert with full points. But still I think there is a bug. You see, in dialog options there were two almost similar answers with the only difference that in one of them you address him by the name -- Myrth. By the way, I shouldn't know whether he IS Myrth or not, cause he did NOT introduce himself. I just get in his house, say -- Myrth, bro, I need to know where Qintarra is located. He says -- sure bro, let me mark your map. Something like that happened. Now, is that NORMAL?
sounds like a shortcut to me. I never did finished the Stillwater quest either- I got so aggravated I just killed him and gave his ring to the herbalist in Shrouded Hills for the location instead. heeheehee good times
In my former life I just pick pocketed him for the amulet, using a fate point. I hate bloody scenes. Besides, Chukka said: "No attack good people!" And I had no desire to piss him off...
