It's still possible to surf the Internet. Had a blind guy in my class through 7th to 9th grade, he had a special board connected to his computer which converted any marked piece of text to Braille using plastic pins.

This stuff is sadly hard to find in one store. I had to go to 5 different hardware stores to get all the pipes and igniter. They sure do make it hard for a guy who wants to make homemade explosives.

    Potato guns are both simple and entertaining, the creme de la creme of backyard ballistics. Portable and powerful...yes. I remember one day at a lake I loaded some paintballs in a plastic bag (to keep them all in one place) into a potato gun;
I painted the bark off of a tree.
Then, with the potato gun I made, I dented the lid of a weber grill with a balled up wet sock.

Yea. Step one: find gun. Step two: Purchase. Step three: Join NRA & practice using gun (again).

Fish: I think you need to make yourself a three-barreled Potato volley gun.

It should be fully automatic, firing potatoes in short, controlled bursts. A potato minigun would be cool.

Failing that, I'd like to see a potato gauss gun.

Finally finished. I'm going to do a safety control fire tomorrow and then it's terrorist fighting time.

    That's me by the way.

    A closer picture.

I like that you have perpendicular grips on your cannon. Mine had to be fired like a bazooka, so it went straight over the shoulder and the ignition button was on top.

Considering the music, shouldn't you have worn a green hat instead of a helmet?

Most potato guns I have seen have also been bazookas. There's a bit of a kick back, so I don't see how you will fire this without hurting yourself.

Now where's the fun if I don't get hurt.

The helmet was green. It was an old tank operator helmet I "acquired" in the military.

I don't know. Ask Rosie how big her feet are.

Just performed my semi-controlled safety fire. Success. I taped a towel across my ribs and wore my tanker helmet with safety goggles and a non-flammatory jacket hoping it would be enough. I was going to fire at the fence, but Rosie said I should shoot the wall of our house instead just in case it went through the fence into the neighbors yard. Good thing she was there because my wall has a pretty nice indentation, but at least the neighbors aren't suing us.

I'll record the next one if your interested.

So long as that idiot is slow enough to both allow you to load the thing and not be able to dodge. ;)
