Starting off, I could use any help I could get here :)

Greetings all. I just purchased Arcanum and so far am liking it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is anything I can fight near the beginning of the game to gain some gold so I can save for weapons and armor that are better then what I Have. I am currently in Shrouded hills I do believe it is called.

Also if anyone could tell me is there another way to scroll the screen other then the very annoying thing of having to move your mouse all the way to the end to scroll or the arrow keys.

don't worry if your a human or elf, you can kill the guy near the bridge of the town for his leather which is definetly enough when you start. and also there is noway to scroll in any other way than what you said before.

he is part of a quest so I suggest you talk to constable owens first

 

To make money at the game start do the very first quest then once you get blessed, kill the preist and take back what he asked you for (you can sell it for 40 gold in town). get the plate ore from the crash site and sell that for 25 gold a piece. check the dumpsters for shoes you can sell :wink: for extra experiance before you leave for Tarant go back to the crash site and kill all the wolves in that valley you should be strong enough to do it now and you'll get an extra level out of it :wink:
