I'm curious about how many of you who have played for a while generally kill of Wendell Wellington in Tarant, so I thought I would run a poll on it. I wish it were possible to run multi-stage polls so I could add the additional polls if people answer with one of the yes answers because. I would like to know WHY people kill him and HOW SOON they kill him after arriving in Tarant. If you kill him, why do you do so? 1. He's a despicable little weasel who just has to die! 2. It usually seems like a good idea at the time. 3. He's in the way? How soon after you arrive in Tarant do you usually do the deed? 1. 1-2 days 2. Within a week 3. No clue, but who really cares? I personally have no use for him and find him an annoying, despicable little weasel who deserves to die as soon as possible, but maybe the fact that I often play female characters has something to do with my attitude toward him. I also find it convenient to kill him off and smash the windows out of his house and use it as an alternate means of egress to the city to avoid the little pickpocket and the guards in the train station, plus it's faster to go through when there's no door or windows in the way. So, give me some feedback on YOUR reasons for killing or not killing him and, if you do kill him how soon you do it.
I kill him with female characters after they gain entrance to the Gentlemen's Club. I've never really looked into using his house as a way out of the city though, never seemed necessary for me.
Who's Wendell? If he's a prick I probably do, but there are just so many it's hard to keep there names straight.
He's the founder and owner of the Gentlemen's Club in Tarant. If you're playing a female character, you need to visit him to gain entrance to the club. His house is set back from Vermillion Road IIRC so you'll probably miss it if you don't know it's there.
I tiik Sinbad's idea, picked a fight with my lousy pickpocketing and killed him. Magnus did not complain, he's that despicable. Knocked out a window and it IS a nice way to get out of town.
