Congratulations, you just contributed nothing to the thread AND missed the point that it's supposed to be an obvious fact.

A cooler way to pwnorate me would be to counter what I just posted with your own sources. That way, you look more like you're intelligent, and less like you're just being snarky for the sake of it.

I think I have an idea for Grak's title and avatar, should he ever make it to 1000 posts.

So would I. Really, it takes at least 2k's of posts before getting that avatar.

Yeah, but that'd be boring, so it's really not an option.

It was quicker to just type that than go into a litany about the whole process. Geez.

Give me *some* leeway there guys, I'd just gotten off the airplane for the fourth time for the day and I was so tired I could barely see my keyboard. I suck at snark when I'm that bloody tired. (Damn my mother and her incredible ninja-guilt skills.)

All I can say to that is don't travel so much. And as for Grakelin, I really, REALLY don't want to stare at a hood every time I read a post.

Aside from that, if it's so anti-biotic, what's with the smell? Enough of that paste stinking up your drawers is bound to make something a little more important than chlamydia die and fall off.

You're on... what, your 10th account now? Sure you haven't said anything constructive between those trips to the void?

One thing is for sure though, and that is that no one has ever had as many custom avatars as you, though I'd refrain from considering that a compliment if I were you.

Re: Speaking out against child mutilation is now a hate crim

'course. You're speaking against the parents' fundamental right to determine their child's religion. The status quo in the West is that parents have the authority to raise their children in their religion as they choose, within a few specific guidelines; the child's nonconsent is not among them. Freedom of religion, thus, only applies to the parents.

(Speaking as someone who had to use violence against his mother to opt out of her religion, I oppose this. But I'm an American and can ignore the political correctness police all I like.)

Ramidel, that whole entire argument can be applied towards anything regarding non-legal adults. If you're not 18 (or 16) years old or older, you have little in the way of legal rights. I speak only for the USA here, as that's all I can speak to. Apply this as necessary in your own country.

Frankly, I'm thankful for this system. Think about it... if children could vote, retarded idiots who had way more children than they could afford would out-vote everyone else. And you could bet your ass they'd vote for people in favor of subsidies to morons who have too many children.

Extend that bad metaphor, think a little bit, and you'll have the reasons why it's a good idea that people under 18 can't vote.

(Also, as a side note, I see no problem with parents raising their children with their own value set. If the child is truly seeking a different way, they will question and find it. And if they don't, they're a mindless idiot either way).

Yeah, heaven forbid parents actually take up the role of "parenting" their own fucking kids.

    I agree.

Grimm, you and I might occasionally be at odds on the forum, but I think we'd get along well enough IRL downing beers at a bar somewhere, complaining about shit.
