Do you know where I could get a hold of some of them?

I have 2 movies in which I have no sound. I don't even know which codecs I need because media players only sends request and ends up with "error downloading codec" message. I tried also vplayer and realplayer and they don't work either.

I've never been able to get the auto codec downloads to work.

Your best bet is to simply do a search for sound codecs and see what you get. There are loads of them out there. Just download a few for windows media player and see if those work. You can get some pretty comprehensive codecs packs for media player.

Search around for the AC3 codec. Lot's of movies use AC3 sound.

Thanks those were the AC3 all right. Now I'll get to watch Mulholland Drive - and understand it ;)

I loved that movie. There's a lot of interpretation to do once it's over. Start a thread once you've watched it so we can post about it.

    Great lesbo scenes, too.
