I'm not making fun of Cold War. DarkFool says something funny about USSR (which doesn't exist) and I say something funny about Truman's (am I correct with spelling) America (which also doesn't exist). Where is continuing of Cold War? It's only exchanging of national jokes.

What sucks most is that idea of mainstream is to be not like everybody. This sucks most, when all don't want to be like everybody.

 

Uhm, i didn't understand that, but here's the thing: No matter what you do, or who you want to be, you're part of some sort of community. And within that community, you are mainstream. The only people that looks at you as "alternative" are people from other communities. Furthermore, We are all different. There's no way someone can be exactly identical, ergo; There's no such thing as "mainstream".

 

Well, mainstream is that is accepted by most, no matter how they are different. And sometimes you can be in community, but not be mainstream. We take whole socium and determine what is mainstream there.

 

Well, if I ought to be in any community, I'd say that I'm a hoboish fan of synth and death rock. But without all that neon and kajal (don't know the name for the later in english) shit. I do just fine with my rags for clothing.

 

I'm fan of death metal and, although I'm in some communities, it is not mainstream almost everywere except community of death metal. :evil:

there's nothing wrong with being mainstream. i embrace the fact that i have very few outstanding qualities, and i will always be copying others with more imagination than myself.

I'm not really mainstream... and I'm annoying enough that I don't really belong to any cliches... I just drift from one to another at will...
