How did Rodney Dale convince Gross that he was two middle-aged adults?

    Essentially there are two options:

    1) Rodney Dale is a really good impersonator (or have friends that are similarly determined to troll the House, which seems unlikely), taking advantage of Grossen's current state.

    2) Grossen is HWLFP and has managed to pass under the alt radar all this time.

He always impersonated his father, I didn't think to ask what he looked like.
He changed his information in skype to "whatever happened to my son, I'll find out" or something, and I assumed that he was living with his parents the whole time and didn't bother to sign out of skype the night he "committed suicide". I trusted him more than I should have, that's why this happened. I trusted that, given his mental state he would commit suicide. Though, it's rather odd he hasn't shown up. He did tell me he comes here in phases, maybe that was true. His audacity was entwined within his sense of humor, and it was impossible not to laugh at the things he said to me. I thought he was going to be a friend, and he used me to perpetrate the most awful troll. What better way to convince a group of people you commited suicide than through me, because I cared that much. I should never have trusted him to be honest with me. I'm only ever myself when talk to people. I don't change according to the situation, I don't try to convince people I'm something else. I'm me. I expect the same honesty of everyone, regardless of past experiences that should teach me otherwise. Maybe I shouldn't ask for the best in people anymore? Just "alright" or "good enough", until I get to know them. I don't know, I'm so frightened of interacting with people.

Mate, you did well by taking him on face value and by being compassionate. You can't decide to be heartless and cynical because of the 1% of people who would take advantage of you, or who are simply sociopathic trolls.

For the record, I think you were the only grown-up in the playground for that stunt. Well done, Gross.

Watching that video actually made me happy. You've now proven beyond all doubt that your life must be a miserable mess. :)

    Bravo!

EDIT: Referring to something that's no longer in this thread.

    Yeah, link here.

I don't know what to make of it all. The videos themselves are amusing and having the privilege of reading the vaulted suicide/guilt thread after it had already been exposed as a hoax is also amusing. Had I been following along in real time, I would have likely been taken by it as well.

    Good on you, Grossenschwamm.

I have to say, that's an impressive number he wrote up to entertain a forum with ten or fifteen people on it.

Hey, this is an active youTube account. Anybody want to track him to his address and send him fanmail?

30 seconds I'll never get back. Something finally beat out Paris Hilton's Stars are Blind for the speed at which I shut that off.

I was surprised how you hardly boasted about your successful troll, Hell. This was much closer to what I expected, even though totally unexpected.

I was almost ready to recite my touching funeral speech back then when all of a sudden the man in question turned out to be alive after all. Ah well, it will have to wait for another suicide hoax, I guess.

You could just write it now as a sort of preemptive eulogy.

As the situation changed, so did my considerations and feelings on the matter, so the said eulogy would no longer reflect the actual state.

I'm fairly certain it falls under cyber bullying and harassment in the united states. So if you guys are in the states you could look into pursuing legal options.
