Not steampunk style like the last time, but still, BADAM!

I don't think I would wear any of that if an alien beam from outer space hit me and changed my gender, but can't say it's not intriguing.

Oh god, it's so TACKY. At least Steampunk jewelry has style. This stuff is what I'd expect to see dangling from the ears of a nine year old redneck.

I'm tempted to try and order the pencil and eraser as gifts for my step-mother. She's a teacher. I think they're amusing and mildly cute. ^_^

Looking at that Delete ring gave me an idea of brass knuckless composed of four metal Delete buttons.

So the page refuses hotlinking eh?

Anyway, I was referring to the keyboard buttons. They put three on display, and they weren't Ctrl Alt Delete.

Say, Ctrl Alt Delete brass knuckles would be even better.

    Almost win, almost.

Too bad brass knuckles are illegal and therefore a pain in the ass to get by.

I know I want a pair. Walking around in this particular area at night is not what I'd call safe.

It's imperative that they fit though, otherwise you could break your hand from using them.

I find it amusing how in many countries owning a combat knife is absolutely legal, but having brass knuckles is a big no-no. Wiki says they're legal in France and I haven't heard about massive ammounts of people being killed or injured because of this fact lately. Governments seem to always forget that if a villain wants to have a weapon, he will have it anyway, legalising things such as brass knuckles is just giving civilians a way to defend themselves and equalize the chances.

I find there are generally two choices of self defence available to the average Joe; remain unarmed and choose the Kamikaze optional trait during character creation, or carry a variety of concealable weapons with you at all times, just in case. How depressingly droll.

I own a great amount of concealable weapons and I usually carry one with me at all times. You never know when you need to stab a man.

I'm not aware of any law against carrying a chain. Crude, but effective. A little on the heavy side though.

I'm a good shot with a bow (read: lethal at up to 50 metres and fucking dangerous for about another 60 after that, unfortunately that's about the max range for recurve). Unfortunately, it's illegal to carry my 45-pounder about the place, so I make do with kicks to the groin and a few years of self-defence courses.

Mot to mention how awfully cumbersome it would be to lug around a bow and quiver at all times. That's why people bent on self defense generally carry stuff like knives, handguns and knuckle dusters. Easy to conceal, don't weigh much and won't get tangled into everything you happen pass by like a bow would.

May I suggest the addition steel-capped toes to those groin kicks?

You can just wear quality boots - most have metal at the bottom (soles? or heels? or something else altogether? Soles were the place you places your foot inside so...)

The only legal carry weapons here are pretty much multi-tools like a Leatherman or a Swiss Army Knife as they are classified as tools and not knives. I carry a Letherman Wave for general tasks at work but if I did need it for defence the blades release quite quickly. I'm more likely to rely on the fact that I usually wear steel or carbon fibre toed shoes and boots more than anything though.

I wear runners (what the Americans call sneakers, bwahahahaha!) pretty much all the time, for both comfort and because it's easier to find runners with space for orthotic inserts, so steel-capped stuff is pretty much out.

I wear some rings that would count as weaponry on their own, though.

Xiao Caity - dying from various conditions and illnesses since 19-whatever.

Myself, I have a pair of army boots. I pity the one who would want to put himself at the receiving end of them.
