Well, the time has come and I'm off to Iraq. I'll try to keep you updated on my status when I can get online again. If you don't hear from me in a few months, look for my name in the paper. And if you hear about a Blackhawk going down due to mechanical failure, it wasn't my fault. I hope.

So it's pretty warm over here. I'm in Kuwait right now. When I got off the plane at 1:00 am, it was 100 degrees farenheight. Who decided to put a country out here in the middle of all this sand anyway?
