I got stung by a bee yesterday. And yes, it was definately a bee, because the little cunt left his stinger in my chest and proceeded to die in my shirt. Ow. Ow. OW.

I got a sore throat last night. I haven't slept for more than twenty minutes since. I can't talk, I have the sniffles and a really painful cough, I can barely see, and I'm supposed to be going to Maths and OH&S today.

And this is AFTER I've taken Seretide, Claratyne and Panadol. Something tells me I'm going back to bed soon.

Something tells me you should go see your doctor.

I wish everyone (drug companies mostly) would use chemical instead of brand names for medicines. I know why they do it (marketing, etc.), but it would make my life a lot easier when I have to deal with foreign people's medicines.

Translation for the Google-Impaired: Two-in-one asthma medication, antihistemines, and low-end painkillers. I wanted to take one of the brands with codiene, but it turns out I'm not allowed to because of my asthma meds. BAH!

Take some comfort in the fact that the little fucker died stinging you.

Your life is sure hard to comprehend for someone who practically hasn't eaten a single pill in a decade or so.

I was pretty heavilly medicated when I got my foot operation last year, but since then I've hardly touched a pill. But if the need were to arise that little procedure has left me with a tidy supply of high grade pain killers.

Seretide is an inhaler, actually. Claratyne needs to be taken with copious liquids cause they is NASTY, and Panadol... well, it's a sodding painkiller, what else do you need to know.? But yes, many pills, many inhalers... My bedroom shelf looks like a pharmacy sometimes.

You don't have to swallow all the pills at once, I hope?

You never swallow them all at once - you could choke and lose some of your precious little pills. A handful at a time is enough.

I swallow all my pills at once. Though I've never had more than a total of nine.

Having taken pills all my life, I've no problem taking a handful at a time.
I just need something to drink when I take them.
I've never been able to swallow pills, even just one, without something to drink.
I'm a bit envious of those who can.

Xiao dearest, although I'm extremely jealous of that little fucker getting to die in your cleavage,
you really should see a vet..,er, doctor if it gets worse.
Also, Benadryl (diphenhydramine) generally works much better for this type of allergic reaction.

I’ll take one for the team and volunteer to suck out the poison.

EDIT: Sweet! Somewhere along the way I made it to Death Claw!

As it turns out, it's nothing to do with the sting. I have a quite serious case of... *sigh* the flu. I'm 24 and the fucking flu floored me. Then again, I've never actually had it before and flu season has started early this year, but still...

The best flu I ever had had me fevering up to 44C and seeing funny colors, of course between the times I passed out and was in too much pain to see anything. It came with a throat infection that made every bit of medicine I shoved down a fucking torture. On top of that, I had to walk my way to the doctor's to get proper medicine prescribed - then walk some more to the pharmacy to actually get it. Flu is serious business.

Some of us like pharmaceuticals enough that they made careers out of it.

And indeed, the flu is a fucking beast, doesn't matter who you are or how many small children you can kill simultaneously.
