I approve of that humorous picture.

Only Boontling is less decipherable to me than Aussie Lingo.

My best guess would be non-sequitur names for legitimate things
    -or-
made up shit to fuck with the tourists.

    Good Morning

Well personally I just hope you're not all balls-deep in hairy panic, surrounded by sheep with massive yellow heads.

    Good morning.

    Good morning.

In House Of Lords, your mother is overused joke.

    Good morning.

While still on the subject of mothers.

My mother was very interested in Pillars of Eternity but found it a bit too hard even on the lowest of difficulties. She's not totally inept, but rather a bit rusty seeing as the last game she played was (you guessed it) Arcanum, back when it was released some fifteen years ago. With the release of White March's second part, Obsidian introduced a "story time mode" which basically means easier than easy. This sounds right up her alley (let's see if you're able to leave that one alone) and I suggested she'd give it another go.

What I'm wondering is if any of you who've played and finished the game knows which class might be most appropriate. It doesn't have to be the most powerful (doubt that will matter much on this difficulty) but rather the least cluttered. Wizards and druid for example, have loads of abilities which can easily overwhelm a new player. My mother is leaning towards the ranger class, which I guess could be a decent choice, as the animal companion is useful before getting a party, and many of their abilities are passive. I seem to remember that Sagani (the dwarf ranger companion) has about two or three abilities when you encounter her at about the sixth or seventh level. Doesn't sound to overwhelming right?

If anyone would care to spice up the morning greetings with help or suggestions, that'd be swell.

    Huomenta, y'all.

I am of no help here. I've honestly not played PoE yet, but it definitely looks fantastic, I fear however, that since I was not able to really get into Baldur's Gate very much, that I will have a similar experience with PoE.

Arcanum, was oddly attractive to me for some reason, perhaps it was how creative you could play, with tech disciplines, spells and how you approached problems in the game, hmm. Does PoE play anything much like Arcanum?

No not really, the quests are open ended (which is maybe part of what you're after) but other than that it's very much like the old D&D party based games (apart from you can't pre-buff before combat) and it uses real-time with pause as its main combat system. Still I'd recommend giving it a try for any person with an interest in RPGs, if only because it's a new, relatively good and isometric.

I've heard Monks are good Ruda, easily spammable crowd control attacks, decent damage and not high resistances. Now that the full expansion is out it's probably what I'm going to try and solo as. However, as story mode should be quite easy, I'd say a ranger would also be decent and uncomplicated.

    Good morning.

I just noticed that Smuel has past my post count.
Then I immediately realized that I don't really care.
I asked myself, "Why don't I care. Is it that I have matured and these little thing don't bother me any more -or- is just that I've grown apathetic?"
I pondered this for a moment and came up with an answer.
    The answer was "Meh."

    Good Morning.

Just found out there's going to be a possibly R-rated animated Killing Joke adaptation with Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy in it. All you Australians should be thankful, because after that revelation most of the northern hemisphere is covered in my male fluid right now.

    And... good morning.

I tried, I guess I wasn't as excited as I thought  (apparently the new forum doesn't have a crying emoji, so this was the best I could come up with as it's also blue - indicating sadness and yet also possibly some arousal). I'm sorry for being an utter fraud.

    Good morning.
