I always cry when they kill the dog which has led me to formulate the first rule of all my fiction: never kill the dog.

Which reminds me, Grossenschwamm, I started reading your sci fi but you had to kill the dog in chapter one, didn't you?

    Good morning.

If we have learned anything from RR Martin, it is to always kill the dog in the first chapter. And introduce some more dogs for alter chapters.

And sometimes it's payback time for the dogs and their hired human mercenaries.

    Re:

Actually the dog didn't die in what I wrote.

    Though it really wanted to.

As for your clip, DE, didn't the Son of Sam say he took his orders from a dog?

    Good morning.

After spending the better part of a day trying to take a pair of jeans up, I've come to two conclusions. One - sewing takes quite a long time if you've never tried it before. Two - every time you're not watching thread, it likes to secretly knot itself, just to make you feel sad and question your sewing ability.

    Good afternoon.

Whenever I put on a pair of jeans, I am forced to conclude that my body expands at a greater rate than the rest of the universe.

    Good evening.

I just discovered that ants use pine resin as a disinfectant. The resin is the tree's defense against diseases and dehydration, and if amber's any indication, a death trap while it's still a liquid. But when it dries, wood ants will exert huge amounts of effort to bring it back to the colony, and the ants will walk over the resin to sanitize themselves and limit the effect disease and harmful fungus has on the group.

Also the ants I've been calling "red ants" my whole life, due to their heads and thoraxes being red, are called wood ants.

    Good morning.

I'd compromise and call them redwood ants. Then I'd only be half-wrong.

    Good morning.

Had a ferret go missing for 12 hours. Then the cats started staring at the walls like they do when a mouse is being...a mouse. I heard scratching noises, and followed the noise to the bathroom sink. The last time I felt so relieved in the bathroom, I had just ended 4 days of food poisoning.

    Good Morning.

Ferrets are clearly inferior to gerbils.

    Good evening.

    EDIT:

I find this highly appropriate in context.

    Good afternoon,
I don't know if you fine ladies and gentlemen have seen this yet, but I came across it and thought of you.

I'm sad that Rolf Harris turned out to be a flaming nonce. I'm also sad that no one in the UK tends to use the word nonce anymore.

    Good evening.
