I've decided to take a 10 kilometer walk every day. This has so far resulted in soles full of blisters.

    Good morning.

So apparently most of the places where I operated in Iraq have now fallen to ISIS. Can't say I'm surprised, but it is a little disappointing.

    Good morning.

I couldn't think of a prefix antonymous to "un", the omission of a word was thus entirely intentional!

    Good day.

Shucks, turns out "wild wallaby" isn't new internet slang for "lithe 20-something beautiful lesbians".

    Good morning.

Does this make you disappointed or relieved?

    Good evening.

Initially I was disappointed, but I think the description attached to that video made it worth it.

    Good evening.

Up until recently, I've never gotten emotional when reading books. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy reading very much, but somehow I've never actually felt anything while doing so. Sure, I've laughed at the occasional joke and I've been appalled by a few awful works, but I've never rooted for my favorite characters or wished everlasting pain upon the bad guys. I've even ridiculed friends who've claimed to have such sentiments towards a character, theme or even book as a whole (or film or videogame for that matter). I mean, to express emotion? Come on, that's gotta be the epitome of lame? Now, I no longer have friends.

Yesterday I finished "Sputnik Sweetheart" by Haruki Murakami. Having never read anything by him before, and heard a great deal good about him, I decided to give it a shot. This is the first time (since watching "Snow White" at the age of seven) that I've wept while consuming the arts (apologies for the lack of a better generic term). What annoys me is that I can't put my finger on why. Sure, unrequited love and the like are quite sad, as are people pretending, even forcing themselves, to be persons that they're not, but that can't be all, can it? I mean these are hardly new subjects. Maybe it's the creepy, mysterious place that the world transforms into that upsets me. I don't know.

When I tried to ask others who've read to book what they thought of it, their response was largely what I've given people before. "It was good, I suppose", "Interesting, I guess", "It's not the best I've ever come across". When I told them of my feelings, I was ridiculed. The insolence! Beaten by the lack of proper response, and having acquired the entirety of 1Q84, I've now bolted my apartment door determined to shut the outside world out.

Anyway, um, thanks for letting me share.
    Good evening.
