    Re: Re:

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that he was, he also plays Marvin in Pulp Fiction and he's not actually Jamaican so in light of that it makes a bit more sense.

Ugh, I just sprained my ankle like a tit after getting up too quickly having dead feet and completely flooring myself - I had to get a lift back with someone from my placement as there was no way I would have been able to work the 40 minutes back. I don't even get to enjoy my time off with a leg like Elephant Man's either as the cheeky bastards want me to work from home! Still I guess I'll have the opportunity to maintain a healthy work-Arcanum balance unlike when I'm in the office so it's not all bad.

I bid you all a Good Evening.

    Re: Re:

Not in my current game. Last time I was downtown was about 4 years ago.

I definitely heard the one with LaCroix during my first game, but I didn't notice the others until my most recent session. The first one I heard this time was when I was talking to Rosa on the beach and paid her $20 to hear my fortune. The voice said "Stop doing that...Father won't be pleased with you! None too pleased..." There are others I heard but don't remember accurately at this point. That one stuck out quite a bit.

    Good Morning.

I think the voices are put in by the unofficial basic patch/plus patch - as far as I can remember they weren't put in by the official patch, unless anyone else knows otherwise?

    Good Morning.

    Re: Re:

That's...a good point, actually. I most likely misremembered having heard the monologue on my first playthrough. I definitely don't remember the telephone lines having seizures my first time around.

But I ended up learning about why it happens from the game lore; all Malkavians are part of a psychic internet, which was either formed by Malkav or is Malkav himself using kindred as his eyes and ears - he wanted to transcend mortality mentally, as he had already done it physically. The connection allows for the bizarre insights as well as makes it more difficult for a Malkavian to process reality as another would. I guess it's like a hive-mind alpha release.

    Good morning.

    Finished it. Again...

Andrei wasn't at the library in my playthrough. The only new dialogue I noticed (save for a few lines for a new, horribly implemented guard in the tutorial) were spoken by a new character called "LaSombra" who served as the library's final boss. The voice actor performed decently, but the lines were poorly written.

As far as new Andrei related dialogue is concerned, the only thing I can think of is a new Sabbat ending they've added. I wasn't able to access it though, probably due to my character being a Tremere. Speaking of endings, the one I got was really weird. When LaCroix asked for the key, this happened. Everything proceeded normally after a reload though...

I don't think so. The patch didn't add the lines themselves but it fixed a lot of bugs regarding them. Say what you want about the rest of the game, but Santa Monica was fairly polished so the voices probably worked as intended there, even in vanilla. The patch did include a (complete?) transcript of the Malkavian whispers. Apparently they're randomized, pulling one from the appropriate category.
    Ambiguous:
    ----------
"Bone round in melody and word layed in rain."
"Cemetery runoff congealing at the door."
    "Maggots love you. Trust me."
"Mast lay shrouded and the moon is melting."
"Try the corpse in the oven with peppers and fur."
"Souls draped in rotten tatters and Father dances in the dark."
"Make the tallow from the fat of a hangman."

    Danger:
    -------
    "Evil crouches."
    "Death."
    "DIE!"
    (Evil laugh)
    "I smell a rancid grave."
    "You're in for it now."
    "Rustling robes of the Reaper."
    (Evil laugh) "They're coming."

    Deluded:
    --------
"All are blind whose eyes are closed."
"Look at it, bent like a calf for the butcher."
"The drove is a terrible mistress."
"Whishes and words sprout from the same seed."

    Distrust:
    ---------
"A dark light from your death."
    "Hemlock for the deceivers."
    "It casts a crooked shadow."
"It has two mouths to lick from."

    Gibberish:
    ----------
"Deep of the Atlantic, the Ark, dreaming, sleeping."
"Elkabo, elkabo, pixy queen where all is green."
"Can't see, can't see! Where have my eyes gone to?"
"Heloise said you. Cranberry sauce. Hotel foxtrot."
"Stop doing that. Mother shan't be too pleased. None too pleased."

    Lying:
    ------
    "It's a tangle of asps."
"Those lips bleed a putrid poison."
"Sealed with the kiss of swine."
"Rat tails, cat tails, coat tails, all tales."
    "A trick with two tongues."

    Quest:
    ------
"It's not fair! I wanted too."
"Pennies for your eyes in its pockets."
    "Why is it troubled?"

    Threat:
    -------
    "Ask about the free arsenic."
    "Blood brings the vicious beast."
"I see daggers hang on his breath."
"The very thought falls to the flame."
Finally, I know this shouldn't be brought up, especially not by a junior member, and that it grounds for instant banning and yadda yadda yadda...

BUT, isn't this a perfect avatar for Jojo?

OH!! Almost forgot to wish y'all a good night. Getting sloppy.

PS The hotel can't hold a candle to the fucking raptor in the museum. Scares the shit out of me EVERY SINGLE TIME!

    Re:

I guess they probably changed it from a few patches ago then, it did used to be Andrei in the library. It's good to hear they improved upon the voice acting in that bit.

    Good morning.

I watched X-Men: Days of Future Past yesterday and it was good, probably one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen.

Oh, and Wolverine dies at the end.

    Good evening.

I was especially sad when Magneto forced Wolverine to rip Prof X to sheds using his claws.

Reminds me of when Wolverine lost his adamantium coating. He dove at Magneto, which is really dumb, and Magneto siezed him in the air and ripped it out of his body. Then Logan was all bestial and hairy.

    Good Morning.

Actual X-Men spoiler, read at your own discretion:
I like how Jean shows up at the end to fuck with Logan's head all over again.

I played some Divinity: Dragon Commander, the choosing of policies was fun. The RTS not so much.
