I must admit that I was a little bit disappointed by Dodger. Sure, it really feels like a Pratchett, but it's not one of the better books he has writ- I mean, dictated.

There was a line and you crossed it. I'm not sure about the details, but I think it's somewhat related to the word "evernyan". Could also have been the exclamation mark, who knows?
