That reminds me of a fun game you can play during a thunderstorm. Wait until it's fairly close, and you have an idea of the length of time between lightning and thunder. Then go outside and stand in the wind and rain. Wait until you see the next flash, and just before the thunderclap you hold your arms out and shout "There can be only one!"
And good morning.
What do you mean? Do you wish me a good morning, or mean that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?
Nothing better to start the morning with a Hobbit quote, thanks Dark Elf.
Hey Aquila, shouldn't you be posting in the "You're still here!" thread?
For a suitably broad interpretation of the word "here".
The astro-philosophers of Krull once succeeded in proving conclusively that all places are one place and that the distance between them is an illusion, and this news was an embarrassment to all thinking philosophers because it did not explain, among other things, signposts. After years of wrangling the whole thing was then turned over to Lyn Tin Wheedle, arguably the Disc’s greatest philosopher, who after some thought proclaimed that although it was indeed true that all places were one place, that place was very large.
I got lost at philosophers. I always get lost when philosophy is involved.
Philosophy is fun.
115 kg farmer's walks 12x30 meters, so increasing.
Body weight was 101.2 this morning, so decreasing.
Relevant metrics are moving in the right direction, it seems.
Artist's impression of Dark Elf giving Smuel a piggy back ride:
BOW BEFORE YOUR KING!
BOW YOU SHITS!
You're back (0:22)!
And good morning to everyone
No, not really. But then again, I was never really gone. I'm caught somewhere in perpetual lurk-space and I'm kind of liking it here. See you around!
