Of course I was talking about them leaking Game of Thrones, and now with a lack of responses and in light of more recent terrorist atrocities my above post has taken a weird sort of edge. You're all responsible for making me seem to take an ambiguous stance on terrorism, and I hope you're happy.

As no one acknowledged the context of the above post, I was clarifying that the two things were unrelated and the timing was unfortunately off in a rather dark way, not trying to make overly light of a bad situation.

Sounds like my downstairs benefit-scrounging junkie neighbour tripped over her cat in the last few days and is now in terrible pain, seeing as in the past half an hour she called the cat "a cunt", keeps moaning about how "you hurt Sharon [as if the cat is somehow going to recognise her name and feel guilt and remorse]", as well as, "It's okay for you, you get everything done for you, you get your arse fucking wiped [I hope she's speaking figuratively here]," and also, "If I open the backdoor for you, and you don't go out, I'm going to throw you through the fucking window."

While basic human compassion should compel me to feel bad for my neighbour, I can't help but find it pretty hilarious (so long as she doesn't injure the cat, but seeing as she's wallowing in self pity I can't imagine she'll leave the couch at all today. Honestly I think she's too lonely to physically abuse the cat in case in runs away, so she seems content with awful unreasonable verbal abuse, like she gives everyone she's in contact with). Certainly makes for an interesting soundtrack while thesis writing.

Have you ever looked inside a beansprout? I was expecting them to be hollow, like a long thin balloon. But if you cut a cross-section and look, they're actually solid. I've been eating them for years and never knew that.

Speaking of ridiculous preconceptions, I only learnt that people have four tear ducts the other day, ending in small holes in your top and bottom eyelids (if I'm not the only moron who didn't realise this, you can literally see them - go have a look!). I always thought the pink thing in the corner of your eye was the duct and directly secreted the tears, rather than looping them through pipes (the actual ducts) to holes in your eyelids.

It's always disconcerting to find your body has more holes in it than you first thought. Good morning.
