Skills and such

i've found that the best colleges are convayence(teleport), force(for offensive spells), white necro(healing obviously) and temporal(hasten, congeal time) and definetly put points into int, con and will you'll need them if playing a straight out mage

 

i never used the temporal college...
is it that good?
i mean why dont ad points to dex.(the same effect)

 

It's true that DEX affects your speed, but it doesn't slow down the critters. Tempus Fugit (topTEMP spell) increases the speed of your entire party and slows down the monsters.
Actually, I don't really care for Temporal. Dominate Will(Mental) is more fun, IMHO.

 

I still wonder what is the maximum speed u can get... With 20+ dex, Tempus/Haste, potion of quickness,+ agility of fire + a very very fast weapon (the fastest I've ever seen is the blade that Kree has on him... sumthing like 35 speed if I correctly remember)...

 

Hmmm... I'd be interested in knowing that myself. But not this time around. My mage gets the bulk of his DEX from Agility of Fire.

 

yes have a high as dex as possible but hasten doubles you movement points and tempus is too high in fatigue cost even with master if you have other spells going i've decided
