Maybe it's a correct Arabic version - possibly they don't have the letter j, and so use the letter y or something. Their spelling of it could still be right.

Ah yes, the ancient art of double posting...

BTW if those people where Taliban or Al Qaeda people, they most advanced thing they would ever use would be an AK-47...

Yes, and AK-47's are only the most reliable guns around. Kozmo_Naut, a gun is a gun. A bullet doesn't hurt you any less whether it comes from a new gun or an old gun. Have you also forgotten that the AK-47 has a calibre of 7.62mm? That's fucking huge. There's a reason why Kalishnakov's are feared - they are the VW Beetles of guns - cheap to produce, good quality, and break down once every 10 years.

I think you're wrong here, Jar. Try shooting a bag of flour with a good flintlock pistol, and then try shooting a bag of flour with a modern pistol.

A flintlock pistol is HUGELY overpowered. And the caliber of flintlock pistol bullets was huge and I do mean HUGE!

But yes, the AK-47 is the weapon in the world that has caused the death of the largest amount of people.

Kosmo, the reason the flour thing works is this. The bullet from the flintlock has a larger surface area (usually .44 or .50 caliber) than a modern pistol (9mm or 10mm) that, combined with the fact that the velocity from the flintlock is somewhere between 300-500 feet per second slower than the modern pistol bullet, allows almost all of the energy from the bullet to be transferred to the target.

When talking about penetration on the other hand the advantage belongs to the modern pistol. Pentration causes exit wounds, therefore more bleeding.

Anyway, I tend to agree with Jar. The AK-47 is the best military arm in the world.

Anyone of you been at the official page? He made a pretty large amount of guns.
During WW2 the kalshnikow was the most wanted gun of them all.

A gun is a gun. Some guns are better than others, but I agree. The AK-47 is one of the most well known and one of the most powerful guns in the world. Too bad it is so hard to get one, or collectors everywhere would have one.

    Hard to get one?

Then how come almost every single terrorist in the world has one?

    Ahh, I see...

I still prefer a good english longbow. (Much more class, and you can shoot exploding arrows, just like Rambo...)

I'm making one myself, if I may say so myself, it's coming along rather nicely...

It's going to be able to shoot an arrow 500 metres. (In theory...)

Shotguns only work up close DU. Rifles are much better...

Although, there are somethings only a shotgun, and lots of self-hatred, can do...

Shotguns can kill upp to 250 meters i think.
Thoguh they are not efficent at more than 40 meters.

Actually i have done that, but there was so much distance that they did not explode. My dad shot a deer in the head at less then half a meter distance. You should have seen that hole.

I was in Spain once, and my uncle lived in a fairly remote place...or at least, a place with a lot of space. There were quite a few hills around his house, and rabbits lived on them. One day, some guys decided it would be fun to go hunting rabbits, and we saw them walking down the road to the hills...

One guy had a double-barreled shotgun, a bandolier of shells, and some dogs. We saw him chasing rabbits, and not getting any...

Anyway, we heard this other guy...he was hunting rabbits with an assault rifle. How do we know? The day is all nice an quiet, then suddenly we hear a 3 shot burst. Nothing lived on those hills except rabbits, so this guy must have been desperate...poor rabbit was probably just a smear on the ground after that.
