Sig sizes

Your sig is much better imo but then "De gustibus non est disputandum". Still it is an undeniable fact that your sig is 21KB lighter. Right now I like Retard's sig a lot - though I find "retard" written in ugly green color and non-Fallout font on it unfitting,

big sigs are really annoying. especially when they are really crappily made, designed, or just if they look crappy.

Nah, SlugBug's sig is 200+KB. Those are the ones that make me feel sorry for dial-uppers.

I like small sigs best. I try to stick to 100 vertical pixels max, and usually don't worry about width as long as it doesn't stretch the tables. I like to keep file sizes as small as possible also. All the screencap ones I did were under 10k.

Also, the only sigs that really annoy me are the ones that are big vertically. I have broadband so I don't even notice the huge filesize ones. The big long ones, however make me scroll like hell to get down the page. Also, it's just annoying to see a one line post followed by 800 pixels of sig, especially when it's attached to every post.

 

Don't go disrespecting my sig, man. That's tantamount to calling my wife names!

Personally, I like Sherrif Fatman's sig. It is funny. Also, Slug Bug's sig loads just find on my 56kbps modem. Once it loads for the first time, it never has to do it again.

 

I'm not talking about ones like yours, Sheriff. I mean ones like Settler's original one pre-resizing and Jar's Obnoxiously Long Temporary Sig.

I don't like the Vendigroth animation. Avatars and sigs shouldn't draw your eye; it makes it so much more annoying to read posts.
There are some animations which have managed to move and still not be distracting and annoying, including your sig. Why not just stick with the same motif?
