ohh sorry i didnt see that.

ok i was just playing it , and i killed lukan and his ogres fled , but i think that virgil provoked them in some way so they came back and attacked. so if i kill lukan i guess they just flee unless i do something to them again.

they sometimes flee when you kill Lukan, but only for the one turn, they'll be back to get you every time.

 

I could beat the thieves easily only with my evil necromancer. One harm, two harms, three harms..............three corpses.
With other characters I use this trick.

Leave Virgil at the village. Near the bandits look around where there is more place. Put a dynamite and start running around. You should first learn how much time it takes for the TNT to explode. So then running around run away at the last second. It might take some tries but it always worked for me.

 

i tried that a couple days ago but it didnt work , but know i have something ive been waitiing for for like 2 weeks
well i went around killing 3 wolves, 3 chickens, a bunny,2pigs, a cow, and the wise lady before the bridge, and all that boosted me to level 5. and i had 2 pints to spend so i put 1 in charisma , so i could get sogg, wich was my main reason for killing everything, and the other in harm , since ive been hearing some good reviews for that spell. so i got sogg, and since i had like over $1,000 from killing the wise lady i decided to get sogg a good power weapon so i got him an axe. then i decided i needed some better armor so i got that. and now i think i can defeat the thieves

 

Why the hell did you kill the wise lady? You just got rid of one of the people who can ID your magic items. Next question: Didn't she have any good weapons in her inventory that you could have looted for Sogg?
