Hi, I'm having trouble getting to thanatos. First I challenged Pete and forced him as my minion. However when trying to use the wheel of the ship the message show that it's not moveable. When I killed pete the ship worked... This is not the way i want it since he is part of my furure team. So I took the time to collect the 50.000 gold to buy the boot in blackroot. After buying it I couldn't use the wheel of the ship. Also capn Teach don't react at all... Is this a bug? After buying the boot the wheel should be working right? I'm running Rroyos latest mod with some aditions.
So, Stringy Pete alive - wheel inactive, Stringy Pete killed - wheel activated. I would recommend checking if firstly killing Stringy Pete and then making him a permanent undead follower (like he isn't undead anyway) with the Create Undead spell makes the wheel remain active. It's worth a try. I could suggest simply using Virgil's Debug Menu to turn on PC boats after forcing Pete into a follower, but I'm guessing you're playing vanilla and that hack doesn't work there, I believe.
It's the addition that lets him buy a 50,000 gold boot with the ability to sail. I think Risteeze upgraded Bessie Toon's for him. How he could afford to do that after all the gold that has been stolen from him is beyond me.
